PASCAL Private Primary School and Kindergarten Lefkosia is excited to share the heartwarming success of Poseidon House’s recent fundraising event, which took place as part of Kindness Week.
For an entire week, PASCAL Private Primary school and Kindergarten pupils came together to collect essential items for a noble cause. They generously donated food, toys, tennis balls, blankets and towels to the Nicosia Dog Shelter. The response was overwhelming, showcasing the remarkable generosity and empathy that our pupils possess.
The fundraising event was a significant part of a broader Kindness Week that our school has established, during which our pupils engaged in various activities centered around the theme of kindness. The school believes that instilling kindness in young minds is as crucial as academic education.
The culmination of Kindness Week was a visit to the Nicosia Dog Shelter on Wednesday, October 18th. Our dedicated House Captains led the way. The visit was not just about delivering supplies; it was about forming a connection, meeting and interacting with the dogs, and sharing love.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all our pupils, whose generosity and compassion truly shone during this event. We would also like to thank Ms. Adrienne, the House Mistress, as well as Poseidon House Captains, Constantinos and Stanislav for their invaluable support. It’s through such initiatives that we witness the real impact of kindness within our school community.
