October 2023
As we dive into the 2023-2024 academic year, our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is off to an exciting start with a range of enriching activities.
On September 21st, our 5IB pupils learned about CAS (Creativity – Activity – Service), an integral component of the IBDP.
On October 2nd, Ms. Christiana Efthymiou, our IBDP CAS Coordinator and Ms. Eleni Kokkoli, our IBDP Coordinator, held a productive meeting with the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Republic of Cyprus , Edward Mier-Jedrxejowicx, and Hector Macdonald, Principal of ESK, to discuss our collaboration through the IB DP CAS programme, focusing on the collection of dry goods for CARITAS. This initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive impact on our community.
Our academic team is confident that our 5IB pupils will have a year filled with CAS experiences that will help our pupils develop their personalities, boost critical thinking, nurture empathy, and shape them into global citizens ready to navigate our ever-changing world!
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a rigorous 2-year pre-university program that equips PASCAL pupils with essential skills and attitudes for success in higher education and the workforce. Diploma holders have the privilege of accessing some of the world’s most prestigious universities, with recognition from institutions like Oxford, Harvard, and the Sorbonne. The IBDP is offered in 4,775 accredited schools across 145+ countries, and we’re proud to be part of this global community as an accredited IB World School.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates and achievements as we continue our IBDP journey!
