PASCAL Private English School Lemesos had their graduation Ceremony on 28th June 2023 at Ktima Demosthenous in Lemesos. Fifty-four graduates successfully walked over the decorated bridge of the venue to open their wings and fly!
The joyous evening commenced with the speeches of the President of the Parents Association, Mr. Antonis Vafeas, and the Head Teacher, Mr. Victor Antoniou. It continued with the Top Pupil Awards per subject, the prestigious Ethos Award, and concluded with the top 3 pupils of the year group and a few words from our Valedictorian. The last part of the ceremony comprised the School President’s speech, which was very touching as it brought tears to every individual present on this momentous evening. The event culminated with the declaration of the graduates. Fireworks were introduced and lit up the sky as a standard finale to the ceremony, and a sea of graduation hats flew into the air, marking the ending of the Graduation Ceremony 2023 in a triumphant spectacle. Dinner followed, and teachers, parents and graduates spent the evening rejoicing at the graduates’ accomplishments in an area full of emotions and surprises.
Finally, to honour the graduates, their Form Teachers not only prepared speeches that were moving, but had also organised an Oscars Award Ceremony, where awards were presented to both Year 6 pupils and their teachers.
It was a night to be remembered!
