The PASCAL Private English School Years 1-5 Awards and Graduation ceremonies took place on the 30th of June on the PASCAL school premises in Lefkosia and marked a significant milestone in the lives of the pupils, serving as a platform to honour their outstanding achievements and highlighting their academic achievements and personal growth.
Beyond academic achievements, PASCAL Education, as a member of the Globeducate family, places great emphasis on personal growth and leadership development. Thus, these awards ceremonies provided an opportunity to acknowledge these attributes, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic, sporting, and extra-curriculum excellence. Pupils’ grades, academic achievements, and noteworthy performances in various subjects and competitions were acknowledged and celebrated. The Globeducate Roll of Honour Award was also included amongst the many other awards given, marking resilience and character development throughout the educational journey, and was awarded to Konstantinos Timinis; the graduate who showcased his leadership skills through active roles in both school and community service initiatives, and extracurricular activities, experiences which have shaped him into a well-rounded individual prepared to face the challenges of the future.
One of the hallmarks of PASCAL Education is its commitment to cultural diversity and global awareness and the awards ceremonies effectively reflected the multicultural fabric of the school community as they awarded pupils from different backgrounds, cultures, and nationalities who came together and thrived academically within an environment which promotes respect for diversity, and appreciation for various traditions. Furthermore, the ceremonies celebrated the pupils’ ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages and their understanding of global perspectives. Pupils Maria Didehvarfoomani, Olympia- Maria Koutentaki and Mikhail Belov, the top three graduating pupils, are excellent examples of bilingualism.
The awards ceremonies at PASCAL Private English School were not only a celebration of the pupils’ achievements but also a tribute to the unwavering support of their families as these played an integral role in the success of the pupils, providing encouragement, love, and a nurturing environment. The ceremonies brought tears of joy, beaming smiles, and resounding applause as families, friends, and educators gathered to witness the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. Special thanks to the Parents and Guardians Association who actively supported the event and donated a significant amount of money as monetary prizes.
As Years 1-5 pupils continue their journey at PASCAL Private English School, aiming for more similar successes and achievements, the graduates bid farewell as they embark on a new chapter filled with endless possibilities. The graduation ceremony served as a pivotal moment, inspiring and empowering these young individuals to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact in the world. Equipped with a strong academic foundation, leadership skills, and cultural awareness, these graduates are well-prepared to face the challenges of higher education and the professional realm.
