April 2023
We are proud to announce that our Year 6 pupils’ Cambridge Primary Checkpoint test results in 2021 and 2022 were outstanding and well above the international average!
PASCAL Primary School follows the Cambridge curriculum and prepares its pupils to be assessed and pass the required examination in order to obtain Cambridge Qualifications which are recognised by the top schools and universities in the world. In 2021 and 2022 our Year 6 pupils achieved superb results that were greater than the international average in all the examined subjects.
More specifically, in 2021 and 2022, the average score in English and Mathematics was above the international average, while in Science, our pupils achieved the average score of 4.1. This is equivalent to the international average. Our pupils who achieved top scores are Nourani Kasra Sayed (currently in Y1 Pascal English School) and Orestis Vassou (currently Γ1 PASCAL Greek School). They both scored 6.0 out of 6.0, in all examined subjects.
The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint is an assessment used in the final year of pupils’ education in English, Mathematics and Science. The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint test results give detailed feedback that helps learners gain more clarity on their strengths and weaknesses in main subjects. The School uses this information to monitor group and individual performances, to tailor individual learning programmes, compare the performance of all learners of the session and to manage learning programmes within our school.
The Cambridge Checkpoint tests for 2023 will be taking place in April, and we would like to wish great success to all pupils who will be participating!
